The Town Green is a coffeehouse of unusual character -- where great musicians love to perform...for audiences who love to listen.

The Town Green Coffeehouse “stage” is the intimate living room setting, within the lower level of the church. The doors open at 7:15 with the music starting at 8pm.
Typically, the coffeehouse presents six performances a year. Check back often for the exact date of the next scheduled event.

Come join us, and enjoy the unusually dedicated musicians, fresh-brewed fair-trade (bottomless cup of) coffee and tea, homemade desserts at nominal price and a wonderful audience.
Cover charge payable at the door.

For reservations call: 978-464-5414 (recommended, as seating is limited).

Tyra Penn and her Army of Snakes

Cover charge: $12 per person

The Town Green Coffee House is pleased and excited to welcome Tyra Penn and her Army of Snakes back to our stage!

It being an election year, Worcester's favorite intrepid reptiles embark upon a journey to get right to the heart of the nation. From the founding documents to the immigrant experience, all the way to the not-too-distant future, The Army of Snakes takes it all in as they go walking on that ribbon of highway. On their way they meet a Lady in a Harbor and a Man with a Hammer, and they hope to meet you, too!

Songs from Schoolhouse Rock, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Oscar Brown, Jr. and, of course, Tom Waits.

Tyra Penn - vocals; Paul Courchaine - guitar; Russ Gershon - sax; Geoffrey Watson-Oehling - bass; Steve Langone - drums
