Confirmation

An Incredible Journey!

The confirmation journey is open to students in grades 8 and higher who wish to learn more about the Christian faith. The class is led by the pastor and meets once monthly, currently on Sunday evening, beginning with a pot luck dinner and is attended by confirmands, parents and mentors. Students select a mentor who is a non-related, active church member. During the journey, participants are asked to complete a set of requirements by earning 3 required symbols and at least 3 optional symbols. A list of requirements can be obtained from the church office.

Students who have previously been baptized will be confirmed after completing all requirements. Those who have not been baptized will be offered a believer's baptism prior to confirmation.

This year Confirmation will take place on June 19th.

Students in grades 8 and up who would like to participate in the '11-'12 confirmation class should contact the . Classes will begin in the fall.
